Rough cold shifts plus a lag going into reverse on a 2016 Silverado is very often the fluid. The 6L80 doesn't like old or low fluid. Get the level and condition checked first, and ask for a drain and fill, not a power flush.

My Tahoe did the same thing around 120k km. Shop wanted to rebuild it, but a second place found a failing shift solenoid pack and fixed it for a fraction of the quote. Worth getting two opinions before anyone pulls the transmission.

Be careful with the word "affordable" when picking a transmission shop. The cheapest quote often skips the scan and just replaces fluid or parts to see what happens. Ask for the fault codes and fluid temperature readings in writing, and if they won't give them, walk.

A delay into reverse can also come from worn clutch packs or low line pressure, not just a solenoid. A proper test checks pressure and adaptive shift values on a scan tool. That separates a cheap fix from a rebuild before you spend money.
